These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Black Cats® website and your purchase of CCTV products, consultation, and installation services from United Black Cats Pvt Ltd (“Black Cats®”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services and quotations
We provide CCTV sales, site surveys, system design, installation, and after-sales support. Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quote. Specifications, camera counts, and scope of work are based on information shared by the customer and site conditions observed during survey.
2. Customer responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact, billing, and site information
- Ensure safe access to the installation location at the agreed time
- Obtain necessary permissions from building management, landlords, or authorities where required
- Review and approve the final layout and scope before installation begins
3. Product warranty
Hardware is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated on your invoice. Warranty claims are subject to manufacturer terms and proof of purchase. Misuse, physical damage, unauthorized modification, or improper power/network setup may void warranty coverage.
4. Installation and workmanship
We install systems according to agreed specifications and applicable safety standards. Hidden defects in walls, conduits, or existing wiring discovered during installation may require additional work and cost, which will be communicated before proceeding.
5. Limitation of liability
CCTV systems are deterrent and monitoring tools. We do not guarantee prevention of theft, trespass, or loss. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products or services.
6. Intellectual property
Website content, logos, text, images, and marketing materials are owned by or licensed to Black Cats®. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission.
7. Third-party services
Our website and systems may integrate third-party tools such as payment gateways, chat widgets, video hosts, and map services. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
